MEGASKILLS has just concluded its first official round of testing, with the collaboration of UPOL, European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME and All Digital, involving a wide range of stakeholders, including several European SMEs, all of whom completed the test.
This experience was the first of two testing phases, where the consortium invites students, company managers, migrants and unemployed to test our soft skills development platform. Around 100 participants, including managers and students, individually dedicated at least 15 hours to this experience (some even more) and received their personalised report on the progress of their soft skills. On average and according to our own methodology, participants saw their soft skills improve by 20%. The full results of the pilot will be published in the first semester of 2025.
By utilising the MEGASKILLS methodology and interacting with our platform, the participants were able to play video games while simultaneously working on their soft skills. The testing phase went very well, with many users leaving positive feedback on their experience!
Here are some opinions directly from the SMEs and coordinators involved in the testing, managed by European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME:
A coordinator reported:
“The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Users felt that the sessions not only improved their strategic thinking and social skills but also gave them a refreshing break from their everyday work routine.”
Another coordinator shared:
“Users were not only engaged but also enjoyed the process. The games, like Gravitas and Alien Swarm, provided a perfect balance of challenge and reward, keeping participants motivated and excited to progress.”
It was also reported that:
“While some participants faced initial challenges, they quickly realised the value of the experience. The variety of games offered a unique way to develop soft skills that are crucial in today’s fast-paced business environment.”
A participant, when asked about her experience, said:
“I’m so glad I took part. It was extremely interesting to get a ‘bird’s eye view’ of a piece of my life through the eyes of someone else".
